Hippotherapy treatment programs offer a unique and effective therapeutic approach for children with disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, and sensory processing issues. Habilitation & Respite Providers are skilled paraprofessionals dedicated to working directly with children in their homes. They engage in a variety of activities designed to achieve essential goals, including the development of life skills and socially adaptive behavior. By focusing on individualized plans, these providers ensure that each child’s unique needs are met, promoting overall growth and independence.

Rehabilitation Providers play a crucial role in helping children enhance and refine their daily living skills. By offering personalized support and guidance, they enable children to overcome challenges and achieve greater self-sufficiency. Additionally, Respite Providers offer valuable interaction within the home or community, granting families much-needed rest and peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are in capable hands.

Hoofbeats with Heart Traditional/Center Therapy

The Hoofbeats with Heart “Horses for Heroes” program assists military Veterans and their families with reintegration after deployment, service members suffering from PTSD and trauma including physical and mental injuries.

Adult Day Treatment

Our Adult Day Program (DTA) is now open in Apache Junction serving adults with disabilities aged 18 and older. We are approved by the Arizona Department of Developmental Disabilities. An adult daycare center is typically a non-residential facility that supports adults’ health, nutritional, social, and daily living needs in a professionally staffed, group setting. The Arizona Cardinals Charity has once again demonstrated their commitment to the community by providing a generous grant to Hoofbeats with Heart, a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering transformative therapeutic services in the East Valley.

This grant will help sustain and expand a range of services that include equine-assisted therapy, hippotherapy, and an adult daycare center, along with habilitation and counseling services.
